“Ukiyo is our newest video, recorded between Lockdowns. All safety guidelines were followed so no harm came to any of the lads, team or local farm animals 😉 It’s a collection of a few of our favourite songs with a few Halloween inspired tracks thrown in. ENJOY
“Ukiyo -Live For The Moment”
Take Me To Your Leader
The second of our sold out theatre shows at the Artrix in Bromsgrove. Men in Black themed we created an hour long production with real focus on visual effect and creating a journey for the audience. We included SJ dance troop in several numbers and an immersive backing video. This is one of our main highlights and will stay with us forever.
It is experiences like these that drive us!
This is our arrangement of the great Billie Eilish track – Lovely. An eclectic mix of 80’s synth, octave guitar FX and huge dirty dub bass (Yes, Stranger Things was a a great thing at the time of working on this).
We’re all very proud and the final result and as we have grown as a band, the track has really come to life.
We came, we saw, we almost conquered! Gave it our all and what a great time we had between rehearsing, prepping the show reel and attending the invite only audition in Nottingham.
You live and learn, all of these experiences we are thankful for. Maybe next year
Where there is a will there is way! Hats off to the team at CocoMad, through all of the restrictions of 2020 the team managed to build a virtual online festival.
We were asked to produce a 20 minute-ish video to put in to the virtual festival. Let the challenge begin.
We managed to rehearse socially distanced, meaning opposite ends of a 30ft gazeb.. This is what we came up with. Enjoy and thank you to the team at CocoMad for the invite.
Time to be scared! 2019 saw the birth of Fright Night..
Probably our favourite show to date, great atmosphere with a great crowd all up dancing and helping us party into the night!
Love to get theatrical, many hours spent making Ghostbusters costumes out of flight suits, custom name badges and a multitude of boxes, vacuum tubes and anything we could find to create proton packs! This evening was SOOOO much more than the music! It just rocked in every way.
One of the most fun recordings we’ve done, this is our cover of Slade – Merry Christmas Everybody. Always good to get the Christmas hats out and jump about.
Recorded at the amazing RB Studios (massive shout out to Rob and Jon at the studio), then edited at MB HQ.. We hope you enjoy our version even though this has probably made you listen to a Christmas Song mid-year 🙂
Our first ever show and what a show it was. We aimed to raise £800 for the lung transplant department at Birmingham QE hospital, but we reached over £1500. Shout out to Dr Thompson who attended the show and said a few kind words and all that donated and attended the show.
We started to find ourselves, the Hopwood Hall was packed, you could barely move! The buzz gave us a real taste for it, what we wanted to do, what we wanted to focus on, music!
Exhale – Part Deux
Second of our money raising shows for the Lung Transplant Department and our first theatre headlining show. This was a great experience taking to a bigger stage and the freedom of a lengthier set. We included many of our favourite numbers and got to rock out! We branched out with a protector screen backing and had our own produced footage to run with the music. The setting was perfect and crowd loved it.This was a real step up for us.
Lovely (Take 1)
This was our first attempt at our arrangement of Billie Eilish – Lovely. This was a really big learning curve for us all, new to recording and videoing.
Best bit was filming in a secret location, hearing drums in 100ft long motorway tunnel was just epic! Hope you enjoy but Ontario forgot to check out the new version..
